What is Padel?
Imagine a mix between tennis and squash. It’s typically played in doubles on a mini tennis court surrounded by glass walls, which makes it more forgiving (and more fun). Everyone can play. No matter your age or level. That’s why we love it so much. In fact, Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
What are the rules of Padel?
Pretty much like in tennis except you have to serve by bouncing the ball on the ground first and hitting it below waist height. Like in tennis, the ball can only bounce on the ground once but you can use the walls to return the ball into the opponent’s side.
I didn’t receive a QR code
Check your spam folder. If you still can’t see it, please give us a call at 078 214 82 02 or email us at contact@padelclub.ch so we can help you out.
For how long is the QR code valid?
The QR code is only valid for the time period you have booked, so make sure you don’t leave anything behind when exiting the court. We allow a 10-minute grace period after your session has ended before the code is deactivated.
Need a racket?
Just add it to your booking, pay online and pick it up from the reception inside the sports center next door. Don’t forget to bring it back at the end of your session. Reception is open from 9:00 to 22:00 (19:00 on Sundays).
What about balls?
We do not rent them out but you can buy a new set of balls when making the booking online and pick them up at the reception inside the sports center.
Can I pay on-site with cash?
We’re not able to accommodate on-site payments. In an effort to streamline the process, all bookings and payments must be made online.
Do you have changing rooms?
You can use the showers and changing rooms located inside the sports center next door, which by the way, also has a nice bar where you can enjoy a post-match drink (or two).
